Vietnam Winter Camp

Every winter, from December till March, Hi-Wind is hosting a Vietnam Winter Camp in Phan Rang. We hosted our first camp in 2003, and have since then returned to enjoy the strong seasonal winds.

We have our own shop at the Long Thuan Hotel & Resort at the Phan Rang beach which, with its deeper waters is perfect for wing foil, kite, and other wind sports. The daily wind conditions range from 20 to over 30 knots. Depending on the wind and water conditions we will tour to different lagoons in the afternoon. The lagoon with its shallow, calm, wide waters and continues wind is a great place to learn, or improve your kitesurfing skills. And we even offer wing foil lessons at the lagoon with a shorter mast. But do not worry there are also opportunities to catch some waves!
